OFFICIAL CONVENTION CALL

To: Delegates and Alternates of Senate District 55

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota and request of the State Party Executive Committee, this is the Official Call for the Senate District 55 Republican Party Basic Political Organizational Unit (BPOU) convention. The Senate District 55 Republican Party is hereby called to convene at:

Diamond Head Education Center 
200 Burnsville Parkway Suite 100 (upper level)
Burnsville, MN 55337
on Saturday, March 16, 2024

Registration will begin at 8:30 AM with the convention commencing promptly at 9:30 AM. Registration closes at 10:30 AM. Expected adjournment is 3:00 PM.

The registration fee is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. This will cover the cost of mailing the convention call, convention handouts, facility rental, other convention related and SD55 operating expenses. If you donate up to $75 to the BPOU, this will cover your fee to attend the convention, and may be refundable through the State PCR program.

The Senate District Republican Party Convention shall be composed of the Delegates and Alternates elected at the 2024 Precinct Caucuses. The convention shall be held for the purposes of:

  1. Consideration of the Resolutions passed at the 2024 Precinct Caucuses. The Resolutions Committee report will be available at the convention.
  2. Consideration of endorsement of Candidates for the Minnesota House.
  3. Election of Delegates and Alternates to the 2nd Congressional District and State Republican Conventions.
  4. Ratification of a BPOU officer appointment.
  5. Transaction of other such business as may properly come before the convention.

The Senate District 55 Republican Party Executive Committee hereby issues this convention call in the cities of Burnsville and Savage, Minnesota on the 27th of February 2024.
